Welcome to the world baby Carter! I was so excited to do this in home newborn photography session for this sweet couple. Months earlier Christiana asked me to set up a pregnancy announcement photography session for them (check that out here). Thankfully they loved those photos enough to trust me with Carter’s newborn photography session and I couldn’t be more honored!

Newborns are in such a beautiful stage in life and it goes by so quick. We scheduled this session at the beginning of his second week! I think that is a great time for an in home newborn session. As new parents, it is important to take that first week to yourself and bond with your new baby as much as you can. Soak in those baby snuggles and that newborn baby smell! It goes by so fast which is why I love capturing some of those sweet memories that you will have to cherish for the rest of your lives!
