Backyard Wedding in Edwardsville, Illinois

Shelby and Tristan are the kind of couple where you can tell immediately how strong their love for each other is. Their intimate backyard wedding was so sweet and full of so much love, I was actually brought to tears more than once! Shelby wanted to do things more traditionally by having Tristan wait to see her until she walked down the aisle. She did have a first look with her father and you can see some photos of that below!

Private Vow Reading

Before they made it down the aisle, they had a private vow reading. It was just them, me and the videographer and it was such an intimate moment that I felt so honored to be documenting for them! They both stood on opposite sides of a door and poured their hearts out to each other. There were lots of tears all around and it was one of the most precious moments of the day. If you aren’t sure about doing a private vow reading, I highly recommend it!

Backyard Wedding Ceremony

Their small backyard wedding was in a beautiful neighborhood way out in the country in Edwardsville, Illinois. The ceremony took place outside right in front of a huge willow tree that way swaying in the wind. The weather could not have been more perfect! The was a gorgeous sunset that ended the evening, so of course we took advantage of that and got some great sunset couple portraits. Sunsets portraits are always my favorite part of the wedding day! Scroll down to see some of my favorite photos from this special day!

- Raneem

She is very positive and responsive and open to any new ideas. She even stayed a little extra to take more pictures. The pictures were perfect and she captured all the moments. Me and my family loved them!! She also worked really hard to get them a little early, which I really appreciate. I would definitely recommend her!!

"Morgan was amazing!!! I loved working with her."

- Kayla

She is sweet, easy to work with and came prepared with poses and direction. She took the time to view our initial chosen park location prior to our session and suggested a different location due to the scenery dying out in December. She is gifted with her camera and has a natural ability to capture real moments. Follow her lead and you’ll love the memories created from the magic she captures!

"Morgan was extremely responsive from the beginning. "

- Ayesha

I was stuck on a budget and was planning my wedding with the date coming right up with no photographer booked yet. Even though my wedding was on such short notice, Morgan said she could do my wedding pictures and fit my budget. The pictures she took are stunning and I can’t stop looking at them.

"I had my wedding pictures done by Morgan and I am so happy I did! "

This is not just a talent, but a calling. I was searching for a photographer for my 18th birthday and she took the assignment and did more than just extra credit. I am truly pleased and this will not be the last photoshoot with this amazing human being!

"This woman is a work of beautiful art.  "
