Elopement Photography | Alton, IL
If you are looking for some elopement photography inspiration or a photographer to shoot your elopement wedding, look no further! Back in February I was lucky enough to participate in a styled elopement photography shoot. It was located in Alton, IL along the river. The weather was perfect and the sunset along the horizon was even better!
When you think about elopements, you probably don’t picture them in a setting like the midwest! California or the PNW is more what you probably picture in your head, but I think the midwest is highly under rated! If you don’t agree, just check out more photos below. Sierra and Ethan were wonderful models for this shoot. They are actually engaged to each other in real life, so the love in these pictures is as real as it gets!
Below I will list the venues that we used for this styled elopement shoot. If you plan on visiting Alton, IL for any reason, the Post Commons is a beautiful coffee shop that can also be used as a wedding venue. Right below the building in the basement is the Ground Floor Collective that is used as a studio space for creatives and photographers. It made a beautiful space for us to take Sierra’s bridal portraits and even some “getting ready” photos!

This wedding was so beautiful and I would love to shoot more elopement weddings and micro weddings in the future. If you’d like to see more elopements I’ve photographed, check out this post below!
