I was so excited when my sister in-law, Samantha, asked me to take some family portraits for her. You may have thought that these were models for a styled shoot, but NOPE! This cute little family of four are my in-laws. My job is SO much fun because I love meeting new people, but it was so special getting to work with a couple that I had an important connection to!

Samantha & RC’s story is really special. They met in college at Mississippi State University and moved to Illinois to be close to RC’s family after college (they now live in the coolest city ever, St. Louis, MO). They got engaged in St. Louis and later married there on St. Patricks day (#luckymartins), which turned out to be one of the coolest weddings i’ve ever been too! If you are engaged and trying to pick a date, think about choosing a holiday! It will seem like everyone is celebrating your anniversary with you each year and can just make it that much more special.
