Schlafly Tap Room Wedding | Anna & Alex
Anna and Alex’s Schlafly Tap Room wedding was full of excitement and fun! Their friends and family really showed up ready to celebrate them and dance the night away.
We started the day by capturing the guys and girls getting ready in their separate hotel rooms, as to not spoil the glamor for each other of course! The girls had a blast helping Anna with her dress. These are the fun candid shots I live for on wedding days! These are the shots that really document the feelings and excitement of the day.
From the hotel we drove to The Muny in Forest Park and the St. Louis Art Museum for some couple and group portraits. The lighting outside was gorgeous and bright, which is a look I am starting to absolutely love. It gives a dreamy glow to the photos and just looks stunning! I am never afraid of some harsh lighting because it can give some really pretty effects to the images. Scroll below to see what I mean!
From there we headed to their Schlafly Tap Room wedding to start the ceremony. Let me tell you I loved this venue. It has so much space upstairs for everything you would need for a full wedding day. Schlafly tap room has two separate spaces so you can have the ceremony in one room and then guests can walk over to the reception room for drinks, food and dancing while the bride and groom take family portraits in the ceremony space. There is also a beautiful balcony to step out on to get some air or take some smaller group portraits and even couple portraits.
Over all, I was so happy with how this day went and I know Anna and Alex were too. The end of the night was so much fun because this group loves to dance and just let loose!
